Jack Gaza - President Jack and his wife ,Lorraine are lifelong Chicagoans who moved to The Villages in May of 2006. Having never lived more than 40 miles from where they were born, the move to The Villages was not without some initial trepidation. But the timing turned out to be right as was the decision to buy in Mallory Square (despite having only two hours to do so). In the past three and one half years they have had a wealth of new experiences and met wonderful new friends making Mallory Square feel like home.
Jack is a 34
year veteran high school administrator who worked for a
large high school district in the
Jack and
Lorraine have been married for 30 years and have three
daughters and twin nine year
old grandchildren who live in Indiana. They both enjoy golf,
bocce, neighborhood parties, music on the square, dining out
and cruising. Lorraine is active with The Villages Community
Philharmonic Orchestra Guild helping to raise money through
fashion shows, garage sales and the like. Jack has been vice
president of the social-lites for the past year and enjoys
ping pong, playing softball in two leagues, and is a proud
member of one of your Mallory Square Neighborhood League
softball teams

Jill Hauser was born in Brooklyn, New York but grew up and spent most of her life on Long Island, NY. She married her high school sweetheart, Richie, in 1964 and they have 2 married sons and one granddaughter - all living in New York. Prior to having children, she was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Advertising for Look Magazine. Once her children were in grade school, Jill returned to the workforce and pursued a career in Human Resources. Her last 15 years were spent working for an international telecommunications company as Director of Human Resources for North America and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Europe, Canada and around the U.S. In 1996 her company asked her to relocate to Texas and in 2002 to move to Virginia. She says it was hard to leave their kids but the experience of living first in the West and then the South turned out to be wonderful. While in Texas Jill served on the Board of their neighborhood association and in Virginia she helped to establish the Shalom Club. She retired in 2005 and she and her husband discovered paradise and moved to The Villages. Jill enjoys golf, pickleball and aerobics, Mah Jongg, meeting new people and being active in The Social-Lites. Jill served as committee member on the Social Committee for a year and then chaired the Social Committee for the Social-Lites for a year. Jill's term expires the end of December 2011 |

Addie Romano - Recording Secretary
Addie Romano was born and raised in Des Plaines, Illinois, a suburb 20 miles northwest of Chicago. Addie married her high school sweetheart Joe in 1955, and they have one son, three daughters and nine grandchildren. Three children live in Chicago area and one lives in Orlando. Addie and Joe moved to the Village of Poinciana in July, 2005. They moved to Mallory Square in May 2006. They are living the good life in The Villages. Addie and Joe enjoy making glass fusion jewelry in their garage and have entered several Craft Shows in the area. Addie also enjoys line dancing and is learning to play Mah Jongg. Addie is corresponding secretary for her P.E.O. Chapter IG (term ends this March) and volunteers one day a week in the music department of her church, New Covenant United Methodist Church, where she also plays in the hand bell choir. After the children were in high school Addie worked at a Des Plaines bank as head teller and then as a personal banker officer. Her bank was closed by the FDIC and Addie began working for them. Tiring of the downtown Chicago commute she became Administrative Secretary to the pastor at her church. While there she began the Northern Illinois Chapter of Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries. When the national association of PAUMCS decided to have their convention in Chicago, Addie became site chairperson. Addie retired in 2000. After five years she finally decided the kids and grandkids could live without her and Addie and Joe moved to The Villages. Addie's term expires the end of December 2011 |

Susan Glickler - Social Chair
PersonSusan Glickler was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. In 1963 she married Shelly and they have three grown children, two in Massachusetts and one here in Florida. After spending most of her life in Massachusetts, she moved to Florida in 2003 and to The Villages in 2006. Susan was an accountant before retiring in 2005. In The Villages she has been responsible for organizing weekly golf groupings or 15 to 35 women, weekly Mah Jongg games, and also has been extremely active in the Socialites social committee for the last two years. On that committee she has brought in several new ideas for events and has been deeply involved with other members of the committee in planning for everyone’s entertainment each month. In Massachusetts Susan was in charge of the holiday gift wrap effort for Hadassah to raise money for cancer research. This involved coordinating the effort of over 500 volunteers as well as planning schedules, purchasing supplies and dealing with the Mall. During her five year tenure, the effort raised over $250,000 for cancer research. She enjoys golf, Mah Jongg, canasta, bridge, bowling (in a league the last two years), pickle ball and sightseeing. Cruises are also a delight. Susan's term expires the end of December 2011 |

Becky Hausler - Running for
Director at Large
Becky and
her husband Bob were born and raised in Western New York. They
became s Becky was employed by their local school district for over twenty years. During that time, she held clerical and administrative support positions. She was also a member of district special education and technology committees. Becky served separate terms as president, vice president, and bargaining team representative for the district’s clerical and support staff association. Becky and Bob discovered golf in the 80’s and became avid golfers joining the local golf club. Becky was elected to the ladies organization vice president and treasurer positions. She feels her major contributions to the golf club were organizing golf tournaments, fund raisers and dinners. The Hausler’s were instrumental in starting a couple’s golf league that is still being enjoyed by club members. Becky and Bob have been married 42 years and have a daughter, son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. After their son’s family relocated to Michigan and their daughter told them they would be crazy not to move, Becky and Bob became full time Villagers in 2008. Becky enjoys playing cards, shuffleboard, trivia, ping pong, and organizing fun activities for friends. Both Becky and Bob feel fortunate to be living the good life in The Villages.
