I was out for my morning walk
this am and found a nice camera on Little River Pass in
Mallory. It was laying on the side of the street and
probably fell out of a golf cart as it went around a corner.
Will you please post this on the Mallory website and maybe
(hopefully) we can find the owner. They can call me at
350-2140 to claim it.
Thanks
Carolyn Moore

Some of my
Village friends just did an AARP safe driving course and
were directed to this website. It’s the best I’ve seen on
driving roundabouts. The FL DOT has a printed page on its
website but this video created in Washington State is so
easy to understand. Hope you can help distribute it to all
the Social-Lites and other Villagers you know to help us all
with this safety issue.
Video
out of Washington State on how to drive through round abouts..6-7
minutes long… well worth the time.

| Ed Frederick has finished
coordinating the book "10 Seconds Inside A Tornado" which is a
compilation of 70 stories by residents of The Villages who
survived the February 2nd tornado of 2007. If you would
like a copy of the book, contact Ed at
efrederick@earthlink.net or call 352-638-4419. He has
done an excellent job of putting the stories of that horrifying
event together in a very positive way. The book retails
for $19.95. |
